i. The candidate must be a domicile of UT of Jammu and Kashmir as defined in Rule 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Grant of Domicile Certificate (Procedure) Rule, 2020 or resident of UT of Ladakh as defined in Clause (4) of the Union Territory of Ladakh Resident Certificate Order 2021.
ii. The candidate must possess a degree of ‘Bachelor of Law’ of a University established by law in India; or a Barrister of England or Northern Ireland or a member of the Faculty
of Advocates in Scotland or any other equivalent law degree recognised by the Government of India.
iii. The candidate must not be more than 32 years of age as on 01.01.2022.
Note
a. The term of adhoc appointment shall be for a maximum of two years or till such time regular appointment is made which-ever is earlier.
b. The reservation for various categories would be determined as per the provisions of S.O. 127 dated 20.04.2020.
c. In case the number of applications received is more than three times to the number of posts advertised, the High Court may shortlist the number of candidates for interview on the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the qualifying examination.
d. Applications will be received only through online mode on recruitment portal of the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, link of which wil l be activated on 20.11.2022 on the website of the High Court: https: //www .jkhighcourt. nic. in.
e. No application shall be accepted I entertained after the last date.
f. The print-out of the application and required copies of documents shall be kept ready to be submitted at the time of interview.
g. The eligible candidates shall have to appear in the viva-voce I Interview on the date(s), to be notified separately, which shall be the selection
process. No separate call letters shall be issued individually; however,wide publicity sha ll be given through print I electronic media and official website https://www.jkhighcourt.nic.in of the High Court about the venues of interview for the information of eligible candidates. No claim of being unaware of the dates/schedule for interview shall be entertained.
h. No TA/DA shall be paid to the candidates for Viva-voce/Interview.
i. Qualification acquired after the last date of submission of application shall not be taken for consideration.
j. Before applying online, the candidates are advised to carefully go through the guidelines for online submission of forms. These guidelines will be available on the online portal of the High Court.
