Kashmir Weather Predicts Another Spell Of Rain, Snow In Jammu And Kashmir

 Owing to a Western Disturbance, rain/snow of light to moderate intensity is expected at most places in Jammu and Kashmir between Sunday evening and Monday afternoon.

It is possible, due to low temperatures, snow may fall in some plains between Sunday night and Monday afternoon, with maximum chances on Monday morning.

Snow chances for Shopian = 70%, Kupwara = 50%, other plains = 30 – 45% chances.
Due to the short duration of the spell, not much snow is expected to accumulate.

Day temperature on Monday will stay below 7°C at most places in Kashmir.

Light/moderate snowfall can also occur at a few places in Chenab Valley.
Day temperature in Jammu, Samba and Kathua districts will stay below 19°C on Monday.

Light to moderate snowfall is expected at many places in Kargil and a few places in Leh district between Sunday night and Monday late afternoon.
