A police official said that the assembly of people and clicking pictures and videos by people at the search and rescue operation site is creating a lot of problems for the authorities and has been banned in Sopore.
“People are assembling near the site and clicking pictures and videos for fun. Unprofessional volunteers were also taking part in the rescue operation. So, a blanket ban has been put on such practices from today onwards,” the official said.
He said that a few amateur mobile users were seen trying to sensationalize the issue to gain few likes and views on their videos.
